Catalogue 360 (a product of Heronhats LLP) provides a digital menu platform hosted at catalogue360.com. This policy describes how we handle data for both business owners using our Android Management App and customers viewing menus.
1. Information Collection (Merchants)
To use the Catalogue 360 Merchant App, the following information is required to manage your digital storefront:
- Mandatory Data: We collect your Full Name, a unique Username, and a Password. This is essential for account creation, identity verification, and securing your menu data.
- Optional Data: You may choose to provide a WhatsApp Number or Contact Number. This is used to enable the "Order to WhatsApp" feature so customers can reach you directly.
- Menu Content: We store the text and prices of the menu items you input to display them on your unique hosted URL.
2. Information Usage (Users/Customers)
Customers do not need to download an app or create an account to view a menu.
- Access: Users use their device's native camera app or a third-party scanner to scan a QR code, which redirects their mobile browser to a menu hosted on catalogue360.com.
- Ordering: When a User places an order, the system generates a pre-filled WhatsApp message. No personal data from the User is stored on our servers during this process; the data transfer happens directly between the User's browser and their WhatsApp application.
3. App Permissions (Android)
The Catalogue 360 Merchant App is designed to be lightweight and privacy-focused:
- Internet Access: Required to sync your menu updates to our servers.
- No Camera/Photo Access: The Merchant App does not require or request access to your device's camera or photo gallery. All menu management is text-based or handled via standard file upload intents if applicable.
4. Data Hosting & Security
- All menus are hosted securely on our official domain, catalogue360.com.
- We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data transmitted between the Merchant App, the hosted menus, and our servers.
- We do not share your account credentials or your customers' order intent with any third-party advertisers.
5. Third-Party Integration (WhatsApp)
- Our service relies on WhatsApp to facilitate the final order.
- Once a User is redirected to WhatsApp, their interaction is governed by WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
- Heronhats LLP does not have access to, nor does it store, the conversations or phone numbers of the customers who message the Merchant.
6. Data Deletion
Merchants may request the deletion of their account and all associated menu data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your hosted menu at catalogue360.com will be deactivated immediately.
